TexoModo

Terms of Service

Effective October 20, 2026

These terms apply to texomodo.com and to the TexoModo Review Mode that runs on websites using it. By signing in or leaving a comment, you agree to them. TexoModo is operated by Agathe Battestini ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What TexoModo is

TexoModo lets the owner of a website invite reviewers to sign in with Google and leave comments on the site's pages. Comments are visible to the other reviewers and maintainers of that website and help its owner decide what to change. TexoModo is currently in private beta: features may change, and the service may be interrupted or withdrawn.

2. Who may use it

You may sign in only if a website owner has placed your Google account, or your organisation's domain, on that website's reviewer list. You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure, and for everything done through it in TexoModo.

3. Website owners

If you add TexoModo to a website, you are responsible for that website, for choosing who is on its reviewer list, for telling your reviewers that TexoModo is in use, and for complying with the laws that apply to you, including privacy laws. You confirm that you have the right to let reviewers see the pages and the screenshots that TexoModo captures. You keep the project's configuration secrets to yourself; never publish the secret key.

4. Your comments

You own the comments, replies and screenshots you create. You give us permission to store them and show them to the reviewers and maintainers of the website they belong to, which is what the service does. You can edit or delete your own comments at any time; a website's maintainers can also delete comments on their site.

Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, or infringing on someone else's rights, and do not put passwords, payment details, health information or other sensitive personal data into comments. Comments are for discussing the website.

5. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another website's comments, reviewer lists or files, to bypass the access rules, to interfere with the service, to probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or to use it to send spam. We may remove content and suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

6. Changes proposed from comments

Where a website owner enables it, a verified comment can be turned into a proposed change to the website, prepared automatically and presented for a person to review. Such proposals are suggestions only; a person on the owner's side decides whether to accept them, and we are not responsible for the content of a proposal or for the decision to apply it.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and how. It is part of these terms.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available but make no promise of uninterrupted access, and we may change or discontinue features at any time. During the beta there is no guaranteed support; questions go to the address below.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from the use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, which during the beta is nothing.

10. Ending use

You may stop using TexoModo at any time by signing out and, if you wish, asking to be removed from a reviewer list. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections 4, 9 and 11 survive the end of use.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address with its effective date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
